OUR MISSION

​

Our mission is to LOVE back to life, set-free, restore, and equip women in the sex industry, victims of sex trafficking, depression and chemical addictions, to live healthy, hopeful, and Christ centered lives. We are a 501c3 charitable non-profit residential program that longs to provide a safe, secure environment in which female victims will receive physical, emotional, and spiritual healing, and learn the skills necessary for self-reliance and reintegration to society.

 

We want to change a culture that still allows human beings to be bought and sold. We believe that in the end, LOVE is the strongest force for change in the world.

 

We are an organization that offers 9 to 12 months of healing

What It Involves

This will be 9 to 12  months of deep inner heart healing and trauma based therapy; including a unique blend of equine facilitated experiential learning.

  • 12 step addiction program provided

  • Abuse/Abandonment trauma based therapy
  • Life skills to overcome depression and sexual trauma

  • Includes Equine Facilitated Experiential Learning partnership program

Hello,

My name is Jewellan Morrison, I am the Founder and Program Director of Unshackled by Love Ministries. The mission of Unshackled by Love is simple: We offer a 9 to 12 month residential care program where marginalized women, and survivors of human trafficking can receive: physical, emotional, and spiritual healing, while learning the skills necessary for self-reliance and reintegration into society.

UBL was founded in 2015, after spending many years working directly with women who wanted to leave the sex industry and couldn't  find their way out. I saw the need for a long-term, trauma based restorative care program; where women could get: sober, learn job skills, restore families, and most importantly regain a sense of identity and self-worth. Since opening our doors, we have served countless women and had the privilege of seeing 76% of them graduate through the program, get GEDs, hold jobs, and live a new life, free of drugs and sexual exploitation. We are excited to help you or someone you love.

We currently assist ladies gain structure, and much needed healing through an equine facilitated experiential trauma based learning program. 

​
